Mike graduated from Utah State University with a dual major in Exercise Science and Health Education. Most recently he earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He has also been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since beginning his professional career. Mike maintains the pursuit of knowledge and skills through continuing education and has a goal to acquire his Orthopedic Certified Specialist certification.

Mike combines a practice of physical therapy based on best available evidence and sound clinical reasoning. Through his experience working with collegiate athletes as well as the many recreational enthusiasts eager to revitalize their activity levels, he is able to tailor challenging and effective treatment plans that meet the desires of each patient’s goals.

As a sports enthusiast and previous athlete, Mike understands the physical demands and challenges that injuries may present. He uses a personalized approach combining manual techniques and well designed exercise programs to help meet the needs of getting back to functional and athletic performance.

Outside of his professional endeavors, he enjoys spending time with his wife and family taking advantage of the many opportunities Colorado provides for outdoor sports and leisure.

Sara Hanson is a native from Houston, Texas, who enjoys hiking, writing, and watching black and white movies. Sara is a licensed physical therapy assistant who has extensive hands on experience with outpatient clinical settings and has just relocated from the blue rolling hills of VA to the rocky mountains of Colorado, where she is an active member of the APTA Colorado chapter.

Sara holds a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Liberty University and has worked as both an athletic director and a sports education instructor in the time following her graduation. In addition to these skills, she has received ample training in women’s health related issues, such as incontinence, as well as manual lymph drainage techniques. Sara is a certified instructor of both prenatal and postpartum exercise classes, which include strength training, education, and breathing techniques.

Sara takes pride in every patient and believes firmly in a hands-on approach to seeing real, long-lasting results. She finds no greater joy than assisting patients throughout their recovery process, and eventually enabling them with the ability to function independently, safely, and wholly.

Earning her Bachelors of Science degree at University of Utah, her background is in financial planning and investments. With years of experience at companies such as Fidelity, Goldman Sachs and TIAA-CREF she brings to us organization and planning skills like we have never seen before.  Paying close attention to detail she is extremely efficient at the behind the scene aspects of patient care.  She makes sure that everything runs smooth & efficiently from working with Insurance companies to scheduling patients. 

Though her background is not in rehab she certainly understands what it's all about. After surviving a near fatal motor vehicle accident in 2007 she suffered an extensive pelvic fractures, numerous fractured ribs and spinal segments, fractured ankle, lacerated spleen and liver and a degloved hip and thigh. She learned how to walk again after several months of therapy and now enjoys running half marathons.  You will always be greeted with a warm smile from Cassie and may even see her continuing to rehab from her past injuries. Out of the office Cassie is busy with her 3 wonderful children and 2 step children.  She enjoys a broad spectrum of activities with her family such as camping and hiking or a quiet weekend with her husband at a bed & breakfast.
